High and ultra high performance EMC cements
The EMC technology is capable to improve ordinary cement to high performance cements and ultra high performance cements with rapid accelleration in hardening and strength levels up to 200 MPa with binder content not exceeding 550 kg/m³.

EMC cements with fly ash (EMC 50fa & EMC 70fa)
From a durability point of view materials such as coal combustion fly ash can provide a superior performance compaired to Portland cement and the only limitations to increased use of fly ash are setting time, workability, finishability and early age strength development. The EMC technology makes it possible to produce an EMC cement with a 50% fly ash content that has a strenegth development in line with regular OPC and an EMC cement with a 70% fly ash content that has a strength development in line with a mix design of 80% OPC and 20% fly ash.

EMC cements with quarz filler (EMC 50q)
Concrete produced with EMC cement containing 50% fine quarz sand content perform in line or better then OPC based concretes in respect to strength development, setting time, workablity, etc. The EMC process has the truly unique feature that the fine quartz sand attains a pozzolanic index above 25 and becomes an active part of the cement.

EMC cements with natural pozzolans (trass)
Natural Pozzolans have been used for milleniums. The EMC process makes it possible to convert natural pozzolans into a cement that has equal or better performance than OPC in a similar way as EMC fly ash cements.

EMC cements with blast furnace slag
EMC cements with a slag content up to 85% can be produced. The large advantage of using the EMC process is that either pure Granulated Blast Furnace Slag can be used or Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag with a fineness of only 1000 - 15000 Blaine which represents a substantial cost savings over other slag cements that need slag to be ground to a level of 4200 - 5500 Blaine.

It is possible to make an EMC cement with excellent performance from 50% granite fines and 50% OPC. This product is still under development.

EMC highly reactive pozzolans
EMC CemPozz® is a highly reactive pozzolane manufactured from 95% fly ash and 5% OPC. It can replace up to 60% of OPC in concrete while achieving the required performance of a 80% OPC - 20% fly ash binder. This product has been developed to accomodate customers that want to do the blending in the concrete mixer.
